Mr. Musthack's Villa
The living room runs on a symmetrical pair of carved-frame sofas facing a bookmatched marble panel set into the TV wall, with the pool visible through the glass just beyond it. The same language, formal furniture against a stone centrepiece, carries through to the entry seating and the dining run, where a run of crockery joinery and a fluted glass partition separate the table from the kitchen without closing it off.
The kitchen is sage-green lacquered cabinetry with brass inlay along the underside of every cabinet run, open through to the dining table on one side and a window on the other. Upstairs, the principal bedroom repeats the marble panel at full height behind the bed and keeps its own work corner tucked beside the window. The second bedroom takes the opposite approach to its feature wall: a frosted glass-block grid stands in for the back wall entirely, turning what would have been a blank elevation into the room’s main feature, with a second desk of its own against the marble.
